Yep. That’s me.

This is my new blog delving on that awesome borderland between fantasy and horror roleplaying called dark fantasy.

I will mostly stick to Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 2nd edition (Black Library/Green Ronin) and the Old World as well as Swedish Symbaroum (Nya Järnringen w/ English version distributed by Modiphius). Of course, occasional content from other dark fantasy games and settings might also slip through.

The n ewly arrived Grim and Perilous RPG Zweihänder will also be supported, probably in my own setting of Terra Innominata. We will see. If they support some kind of license that allows fans to publish their own creations using the Zweihänder rules, I will definitely support them.

Who am I?

I’m a 40-something academic, living with my wife, kids every other week (modern family) and a small but vicious dog named Yoda. I’ve been playing (mostly GM:ing) RPGs since Moldway D&D was new. Favourite RPGs are those encompassing some elements of grit or horror, for example: Call of Cthulhu, Kult, Ravenloft, Renaissance/Clockwork & Cthulhu and now WFRP and Symbaroum.

I also write and publish my own adventures under the hobby imprint Lazy Sod Press and have a few OSR adventures available on Lulu, Tabletop Library and Drivethru RPG, sometimes under the pseudonym dawnrazor.

I also hope to expand my coverage of systems out of the OSR sphere to WFRP, D&D 5th edition as well as OpenQuest/Renaissance-powered adventures and content. Advenure writing is a hobby of mine though, so it takes time…

I also run several other RPG blogs:

Nerd-O-Mancer of Dork (general RPG blog with mostly OSR/D&D content)

Sanity Zer∅ (dedicated to Call of Cthulhu)

Delta Quadrant (Traveller blog – now resting because we don’t play Traveller at this time)

With a fist of d20’s (my table group’s blog with session recaps for our games)
